Read a sample day as a sequence of travel, instruction, meals and rest. The advertised number of lessons does not describe the whole holiday.

Keep only the documents needed for the outing readily accessible, and avoid making a wet equipment bag the main filing system for the trip.

A beach day can involve several handovers: a rental desk, lesson check-in, transport and accommodation access. Identify which documents or confirmations are actually needed at each point. The original passport may have a specific legal or provider-related role on some journeys, but it should not be carried to every session simply because every travel document was packed together.
Ask the provider what identification it requires and in what form. Do not assume that a screenshot, photocopy or booking number is always an acceptable substitute. Equally, do not hand over extra personal information merely because it happens to be in the same folder.
Keep the day's booking details in a place you can reach without opening a dripping suit bag. A small document pouch may protect against splashes, but check its actual rating and condition before relying on it. Ordinary zip bags and products described as water resistant should not be treated as guaranteed protection during immersion.
Save essential addresses and confirmations offline if you will use a phone. Check that the file opens without a connection before leaving. Name it clearly enough to find quickly, rather than relying on scrolling through a long conversation at the meeting point.
Keep original documents and backup copies arranged according to your needs and the security of the available storage. Avoid storing the only copy of everything in the same vulnerable place. Do not leave visible personal information in an unattended vehicle or in a shared equipment area.
When you return, remove receipts and temporary slips, dry the outside of any pouch and put the relevant documents back in their intended place. A damp paper confirmation buried for several days can become unreadable just when it is needed for the next transfer.
Before a departure day, reorganise the folder for travel rather than assuming the beach arrangement still works. Boarding information, baggage receipts and transfer details may need to be accessible in a different order. A useful document system is small and deliberate: it puts the right information at the right handover without exposing the rest unnecessarily.
